A very close neighbour of ours, the Charles Dickens Museum. Discover the typical Georgian terraced house where this much loved author wrote Oliver Twist, Pickwick Papers and Nicholas Nickleby. Dickens lived here from 1837 to 1839 and is where he first achieved international fame as one of the world’s greatest storytellers of all time. Visitors can view treasures including the author's book lined study, writing desk and drafts of novels.
