Then flex your detective skills at ClueQuest by Edward Square, just one minute’s walk from Lightroom. Follow a series of clues in an escape room and see who in your group can crack the codes...

Jump on the Piccadilly Line (that’s the dark blue one) at King’s Cross tube station and exit five stops later at Piccadilly Circus tube station, where you’ll soon reach Dave’s Hot Chicken. This may be an LA fast-food joint, but since it opened its doors to London in December 2024, it's instantly become a big hit amongst locals and tourists. Order American hot chicken wings whilst slurping on a shake and checking out their graffiti artwork. And if you’re a pickle lover, great news, you can order an entire cup of them!

From Formula-1 to New York Yankees, find a cap to suit your favourite sport (and personal style) at New Era on Carnaby Street. The best thing about caps? They don’t take up too much space in your suitcase – making them ideal souvenirs.   

Browse through New Era’s hoodie selection too, and layer up against London’s chill. Boasting loads of clothing shops, Carnaby Street is the place to get experimental with your style. 

Then head over to Italian Bear Chocolate in Fitzrovia for a sweet pick-me-up. Prepare for ultra indulgence, this café went viral on social media for smothering chocolate around the edges of their hot chocolate cups. Go on, treat yourself.  

 

By this point in the day, you’re due some time out. Walk from Italian Bear Chocolate to Royal National Hotel, just 10 minutes away, and take a snooze. (Or scroll on your phone, no judgement.) Whether you’re taking a solo trip or with others, you’ll thank yourself later. Because an action-packed evening lies ahead, and you don’t want to be yawning through it. 

 

Bounce over to Bloomsbury Lanes to kickstart your evening with a game of bowling. Offering student discounts and off-peak prices, this basement hangout also has karaoke booths for the times you just want to belt out a few Amy Winehouse ballads.

On your way back to Royal National drop into The London Pub to cheer with a cold beer whilst the footie's on. Grab a TLP lager (at just £5.45 a pint) and find a spot near the big screen. No sport on when you’re there? There’ll still be a buzz. Mingle with locals or dive into a big bowl of nachos, just enjoy yourself! 

Craving a late-night feast? We get it. Grab a stone-baked taste of Italy from the Pizza Hatch at Blooms Coffee & Pizza, oozing with cheese and marinara sauce, what’s not to love? Select Netflix on your Smart TV, kick back and feast! You’ve had an epic day, so you deserve an epic pizza.
