Lead architects, Cube Design Ltd, and the interior designers, Trevillion Interiors Ltd and Keane Brands, have honoured the historic significance of the building whilst introducing modern facilities tailored to the needs of today’s travellers. Iconic architectural elements such as the bold Brutalist exterior and geometric window design have been carefully preserved, whilst the interiors will blend renowned 1960’s design features with a contemporary palette, completing the transformation.
Vascroft Contractors Ltd have been appointed as the main contractor, tasked with bringing this vision to life, ensuring the hotel once again becomes an iconic destination, true to its unique character and style, cherished by future generations. Throughout the design, demolition and main works, the project has been supported by Axiom Project Services Ltd as project and cost consultants.
Sustainability is a focus throughout the hotel renovation project. From the outset, Imperial London Hotels has made a commitment to minimising environmental impact by partnering with Clean Conscience™, a charity that ensured the surplus and redundant assets from the existing hotel were donated for reuse rather than disposal.
